Social media personality and video vixen Rosemond Brown, also known as Akiapem Poloo has been jailed three months after her conviction on charges by the Accra Circuit court.
Akuapem Poloo proved guilty before the court after the publication of her naked photos together with her son on her son’s birthday in June 2020. The court jailed the video vixen for the publication of obscene material and domestic violence.

It will be recalled that the video vixen and social media commentator Akuapem Poloo shared a naked photo of herself and her son when he was celebrating his birthday in June 2020. On her son’s birthday, she shared a photo of herself squatting n@ked as she faced her son.
These photos went viral on social media with users firing her for the photo she shared with her son. Rosemond Brown however pulled down the photo after several backlashes.
The photos she posted to celebrate her son’s birthday went viral and became the topic for discussion for several weeks.

Nonetheless, a few hours after the release of the photos, a child rights society petitioned her over the indecent act and release a press statement indicating that they will take the matter up and take away her child because she used her social media page and fame to abuse her son.
The complainant in the case was Bright Appiah, who is the Director of Child Rights International Ghana. He petitioned the police after the photo went viral on social media, and the matter was referred to the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU).
