Ghana Election 2020: President Akufo-Add has noted that, 1.2 million Ghanaian students have benefited from the flagship Free SHS policy that his administrative NPP government implemented in 2017.
According to the President, the Free SHS policy has enabled more Ghanaians to have education which they would not have been able to afford without the Free SHS programme.
Taking to twitter on Friday 27th November, 2020 the president wrote “The Free SHS policy implemented by the NPP government has benefitted 1.2 million Ghanaians. With 4 more years, we will do more for the people of Ghana.”

Although, the president did not add any evidence to support his figures that he claims are the exact number of beneficiaries, but the Free SHS policy has been the major laudable policy of Akufo-Addo led NPP government.
The president in his tweet, asked Ghanaians to vote for him to do more in the next four years.
Ghana walks to the polls to elect the next government on December 7.
