Comedian Bill Cosby Denied Parole

Top American comedian and actor Bill Cosby has hit a standing block with his attempt to get out of prison after he was denied a parole.

The top Hollywood superstar was denied parole by the Pennsylvania Parole Board after his request. The board say the request was denied because Bill Cosby failed to participate in a number of programs in which he was to participate in and many others.

They said the comedian failed to participate in some of the programs which is meant for sex offenders in prison in aim of treating them and also, he failed to develop a parole release plan for the board’s consideration.

The Pennsylvania Parole Board also issued a strike 3 against Cosby in the fact that, the comedian got a negative recommendation from the Department of Corrections.

According to Bill Cosby’s lawyer Andrew Wyatt in an interview with popular news outlet TMZ, He revealed the Hollywood actor is not surprised the Pennsylvania Parole Board has denied his parole because some of the members of the parole board revealed to him that he would be denied a parole if he doesn’t participate in the sex offender program.

Bill isn’t surprised by the denial because members of the parole board told him he would be denied if he didn’t participate in the sex offender program.

Andrew Wyatt also added that Bill Cosby is not giving up on his parole as he hopes the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court will clear off his conviction and potentially grant him a new trial within the shortest possible time.

You may recall Bill Cosby was in a high profile court case in September 2018 was sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison after being convicted of aggravated indecent assault of Andrea Constand at his home his 2004.
