The family and management of the late Hip Hop icon Earl Simmons popularly known as DMX has released a whole new album of the rapper titled ‘Exodus’.

Recall the family and management couple of weeks ago revealed an posthumous all new album of the rapper will be released to the market soon, after the rapper was given a befitting burial and funeral ceremony in the early days of May this year.

DMX was said to have been working on the album which was to be his last project before he leaves the record label he has been with his entire career, Def Jam Records and the music industry as a whole before his sudden passing.

The ‘Ruff Ryder’ suffered a heart attack which was triggered as a result of a drug over and was hospitalized for a couple of days at the White Plain hospital intensive care unit placed on life support.

His organs were said to be failing him gradually before his sudden demise in the early days of May 2021 after fans and loved ones stormed the roads leading to the hospital to wish the legend a speedy recovery by playing and jamming to his songs all day and a vigil held in the evening.

Record music producer and best friend to the late rapper, Swizz Beatz revealing the release of the album couple of years ago during an interview stated; “My brother X was one of the most pure and rare souls I’ve ever met, He lived his life dedicated to his family and music. Most of all, he was generous with his giving and loved his fans beyond measure. This album, X couldn’t wait for his fans all around the world to hear and show just how much he valued each and every single person that has supported him unconditionally“.

Now the album 13 track listed album was released earlier in the day and fans and music lovers are reacting to the work done on the album.
