Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael popularly known as Zlatan is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and dancer born on 19 December 1994, to Mr/Mrs. Omoniyi.

From Ekiti State in Nigeria, Zlatan was born and raised in Ilorin where he grew up wanting to do music. Zlatan attended Mooshood Abiola Polytechnic where he obtained a national diploma in business administration in 2011.

Music Career

In 2014 he took part in the Airtel-Sponsored “One Mic Campus Tour” Talent show held in Abeokuta, Ogun State which he won at the age of 19 years.

Zlatan gained popularity in the Nigerian music industry after his song ”My Body” which featured Olamide made waves across the entire shores of the country. He again mastered his craft which further exposed him more following his collaborated track with Chinko and Lil Kesh on the hit single ”Able God”.

The song ”Zanku” which brought about the dance ‘Zanku’ did just to Zlatan’s music career which gained him access to featured Davido on the song ”Osanle” in 2018.

In 2019, it was a blessing year for his career as he released ”Glory” shortly before Burna Boy featured him ”Killin Dem” which appeared on Burna Boy’s ”African Giant” studio album. He was also featured on Naira Marley’s ”Am I A Yahoo Boy”.

Coca-Cola on 26 July 2019 announced an endorsement deal signed with Zlatan.

In October 2019, Davido unveilled Zlatan as the new member of 30 Billion Gang but not officially signed to Davido’s record label, DMW

Arrest and release

All things looked great for Zlatan until May 2019 when the EFCC arrested him and a few other colleagues in connection with alleged cyber fraud and money laundering. Days later he was released on bail.

According to Zlatan though his first-ever performance fee was N45,000 he worked his way to the top and now charges not anything less N15million.

In March 2020, Zlatan welcomed a baby with his girlfriend but showed the face of his child on May 27, 2020, to the public via an Instagram post.

Zlatan, the originator of the Zanku legwork dance has an estimated net worth of $500,000 (N190 million)
