Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has subtly lauded the effort of renowned journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, whose explosive undercover piece dubbed Number 12 has shaken everyone to the core.

The mother of one, who was part of thousands of Ghanaians who trooped to the Accra International Conference Center to watch the documentary when it was screened for the first time, suggested that every facet of the Ghanaian society is suffering from corruption and it’s high time we stopped it to move the country forward.

She told UTV thus:

It’s not only with football. There’re several institutions in Ghana if you go there, everyone knows, there’s no need to mention names; some of them are so respected, yet, they’ll ask for money.

In a related development, FIFA has banned Mr Nyantakyi from all football related activities for 90-days pending further investigation.
