His Excellency the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has discredited former president His Excellency John Dramani Mahama on his message of creating 1 million jobs if voted into power in the upcoming 2020 general elections.
speaking on job creation in an interview on Oman 107.1 fm which was broadcast from the Jubilee House in Accra on Friday 4 September, 2020, Nana Addo Dankwa, the flagbearer on the ticket of the New Patriotic party (NPP) for 2020 elections, said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer cannot create 1 million jobs after freezing employment in his 4 years administration as president.
Former president John Dramani in his recent regional tours has noted of his plans to create 1 million jobs when voted into power. Stating that the Northern Region will benefit 500,000 of it.

To this effect, Nana Akufo-Addo has debated that the calculation does not add up if indeed the job will be for all Ghanaians. Adding that one region cannot have 50000 jobs out of 1 milllion.

economy, adding that people would have sustainable and decent jobs for he wil create additional 100,000 jobs will his Tree Planting initiative.
