Nigerians are getting emotional and angry at the same time over the killings of unarmed protesters by Nigerian soldiers at Lekki Toll Gate on Tuesday in one of the darkest histories of Nigeria.

There have been massive demonstrations nationwide every day for nearly two weeks against a police unit, the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), that rights groups had for years accused of extortion, harassment, torture, intimidation, and murders.

However, things took the wrong turn after soldiers started emptying bullets into the bodies of the demonstrators. Prior to that CCTV cameras were removed and the whole Lekki area was plunged into total darkness before the soldiers carried out their heinous crime. In the midst of all this, several celebs from Nigeria and other countries, especially America stars have all condemned the killings. Regina Daniels also waded in with an emotional message but unfortunately, it backfired as fans released their frustrations on her.
