Entertainment pundit Rya Anakwa has stated that fast-rising Ghanaian rapper Yaw Tog might be right at some point that he made Stormzy more popular in Ghana.

According to Rya, the Kumerican Drill rapper might be right at some point that indeed he made the UK’s finest rapper more popular in the country after the collaboration of the remix version of his hit song ‘Sore’.

She said although many deep listening music lovers in the country knew of Stormzy way before his collaboration with Yaw Tog, the collaboration seems to have introduced Stormzy to a new set of music lovers.

Speaking as a guest pundit on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show hosted by the multi-talented Andy Dosty and aired on Accra based radio station Hitz FM, the female pundit stated Yaw Tog seems to have his own type of audience who have so soaked into his music and these fans one way or the other listen or support Stormzy’s projects now.

She stated one might think it’s an ungrateful comment coming from someone whom Stromzy helped projected to the world through his collaboration with him, it’s fair to say that it was a win-win affair for both artists but Yaw Tog benefited the most.

Since morning, Yaw Tog has been trending on Twitter for his statement that he made Stormzy more popular in Ghana after his collaboration with him.
