A woman by name Sarah from Peru has delivered a baby with Sirenomelia, also known as “Mermaid Syndrome.” The cute baby, Milagros Cerron has her two legs joined together from groin to ankles, just like the mythical mermaids we read about from our fable books.
Doctors at the hospital however revealed her internal organs were in a perfect condition. Mili who has been nicknamed “Little Mermaid,” underwent various rounds of leg separation surgery and doctors claim her condition was very rare that they had only seen it in books.
Mili was born with Sirenomelia which is also known as the “Mermaid Syndrome” and it’s one of the rarest birth abnormalities in the world.
