A woman in Nigeria has allegedly attacked her husband with machete while he slept because he plans marrying another woman.
The crime was recorded in Ijebu-Ode, a city in the south-west of the country after the woman invited her husband to spend the night with her in a her bode.
The woman, identified as Oluwakemi Etu who is currently in police custody said she bought the cutlass two weeks before she launched her attack on her husband because he wanted to marry a second wife.
The man is currently in coma, with severe cuts all over his body especially his chest, shoulders and legs. Doctors have however he was responding to treatment.
