The countdown to Ghana’s most prestigious award scheme, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has begun. Yesterday (March 3), the organizers (Charter House) released the full list of the nominees and as expected, it generated mixed reactions from the general public.
This year’s event promises to be full of fireworks because of the return of Shatta Wale. And predictably, Shatta Wale’s name has found its way into the ‘Artiste of the Year’ category, which happens to be the topmost award.
He will battle it out with the likes of Joe Mettle, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and the late Ebony. Under the year review, all the above top Ghanaian artistes did their best, from performing at both local and international events.
