'When I Met Shatta Wale He Had Only ₵17 In His Account'

The former girlfriend of Shatta Wale, Michy has disclosed that when she first met the self-proclaimed Dancehall artiste, he had nothing on him except ₵17 as the only savings he had made.

This is to suggest that Shatta W ale who is now one of Ghana’s richest artistes of his generation was a pauper as he was then struggling to gain the spotlight with his career as a rapper before he transitioned to Dancehall.

“When I met him, all he had was seventeen cedis. For the showbiz, my mum had made me believe that it wasn’t good but as a young girl I was ready to explore. I really care that was why I stayed with him,” she told actress cum TV host Emelia Brobbey.
