She stated it’s sad that the people will join long queue at dawn to vote for these politicians thinking they will be working in the best interest of the people, but will be rather amassing wealth for themselves and scoring of ‘cheap’ political points.

She said Ghanaians should be sad that we live in a country where a greater part of the youth in this country are jobless and are aiding these same politicians who through their actions made them jobless to champion their political lies in exchange for some small pocket change.

You should be sad that we live in a country where politicians care more about scoring points than they do the people. You should be sad that the youth are so poor and jobless they’ve resorted to aid politicians in their lies for pocket change. We should all be sorry.

Ms Lydia Forson has expressed her appointment in the people who agreed with her in 2015 when she wrote an article to the then president of the Ghana, John Dramani Mahama about the dumsor crisis the nation was facing at that time.

She stated that its very disappointing to see the people who agreed with her on that article back then are now saying #FixYourSelf in response to the people’s #FixTheCountry protest.
