You see marriage is a yardstick of measure in our society. If you want to deviate from this status quo, you are often branded with all sort of insulting and unprintable names.
Woe betides you if you are a descendant of Eve— you would have your stars to thank if your parents, especially our mothers do not match make you or take your name to all these self-acclaimed men of God all in the name of getting you hooked up.
“Do you want me to die before you give birth to my grandchildren” are some of the usual lines you are bound to hear. Wondered why a lot of marriages do not last?
Some get into marriage not ready but to please a family member or two and society at large.
We have taken our time to go through our female celebrities who have reached their marriage age (as funny as it sounds, we have an age for marriage) yet have still not gotten that ring on their fingers.
This is not to ridicule anyone but I honestly do not believe in marriage myself. If it happens, better and if it does not even better.
