Remixes are always done to improve an original work. Yes, notwithstanding how good the original song was, the remix would surely take it to a different dimension.
But that was not the case in KiDi’s Odo rmx. In fact judging from the high-profile collabo he had with the likes of Davido and Mayorkun, one would have expected the song would blow up AGAIN.
Speaking in an interview on this subject, Mayorkun said the remix was not done to outshine the original.
He said:
Something I’ve always wanted Ghanaians to understand is, the original was loved by many Ghanaians and we didn’t do the remix to come and overtake what you already love.
