Ewe rapper, Edem has told organizers of 3Music Awards to add money to the awards and not just present plaques to winners.
3 Music Networks and TV 3 organizers, the brain behind the maiden edition of the award scheme, announced nominees for the ceremony over the weekend.
But the rapper seems to have poured cold water on the fanfare that heralded the announcement, calling on the organizers to add cash prices to the plaques, just GN bank did few months ago.
The Nyedzilo rapper believes giving mere plaques smacks of insult to their integrity hence we believe he’s fighting a good cause for the industry.
He wrote:
Three Music… Great initiative… Please add Cash and other Succulent prices for Winners, just like GN awards has done… We would appreciate the game-changing initiative.
