For the first time an African mounted the stage to perform at the prestigious Music Of Black Orgin awards ceremony (MOBO). That person was no other than Nigeria’s Davido.
The event came off live at First Direct Arena in Leeds yesterday (Nov. 29) and it also saw performances from superstars like Cardi B, Krept & Konan, Stormzy, who won three awards, and a host of others.
Aside that Davido also emerged winner of the Best African Act award at the 2017 MOBO Awards, beating out Eugy, Juls, Maleek Berry, Mr Eazi, Sarkodie and more.
