Popular preacher, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh has caused a huge stir on social media when he publicly insulted a singer who w as helping him to sing a song during Ebony’s funeral at the forecourt of the State House March, 25, 2018.

We observed that the preacher who was trying to sing as part of the schedules for the programme, became furious when his back up singer identified as Maxwell failed to coordinate with him.

Dr. Lawrence Tetteh then blurted out, ‘Mr. Maxwell, are you the one preaching or it’s me? Onye. Come and stand here.’

On that note, lot of Ghanaians shredded him for going out of his way as a pastor to insult someone, more-so in public.

But shockingly, the pastor justified his comment by arguing that the insult can be found in 2 Kings 3:14 in the Holy Bible.

He said:

It’s in the Bible, Onye is in the bible and its means your mother. It’s in 2 Kings 3:14. There are a lot of things in the Bible. This insult was said by Elisha after he was provoked by some rebellious kings.

Dr. Lawrence Tetteh was the officiating minister at the funeral ceremony of late Ebony Reigns.
