The match between Denmark and Finland at the ongoing Euro 2020 has been suspended.

This comes after the Danish captain, Christian Erikson collapsed as the match went on at Parken Stadium in Denmark.

Fans at the stadium as well as many football lovers across the globe were left devastating in what can be described as an unbearable and unfortunate situation.

Meanwhile, UEFA has released a statement and in the statement, it was revealed that the player is now in a stable condition and he is now at the hospital.

The statement by the federation reads;

“Following the medical emergency involving Denmark’s player Christian Eriksen, a crisis meeting has taken place with both teams and match officials and further information will be communicated at 19:45 CET. The player has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised.”
