Following the viral banter between Shatta Wale and President Nana Akufo Addo had on social media, the musician has ‘followed the necessary procedure’ and paid a courtesy call the president at the Flagstaff House yesterday (Nov.1).
In a related development, Shatta Wale has released a track exclusively for the President to show his appreciation for acknowledging him on his birthday via Twitter.
The President wrote:
The “Dancehall King”, Shatta Wale, was at the Presidency this afternoon to pay me a visit, after I extended an invitation to him, on his birthday.
