According to Apostle Dr. Daniel Agyei of the Evangelical Methodist Church, Joshua Kwame Ampadu Cathedral located at Asylum Down in Accra, he joined others to demonstrate on the streets of Accra because his church members are broke now.

He said his church members who used to give ‘big’ back to the church can no longer do so because of the hardship in the country. He added that most members also refuse to even give offertory or pay their monthly tithe because most of them are now broke.

Apostle Dr. Daniel Agyei stated that the demonstration is a very peaceful one and no one among the demonstrators is ready to break the rules and regulations given to them by the Accra Regional Police Command.

He said the people who are on the streets demonstrating are not against the sitting president and his New Patriotic Party administration neither do they hate the National Democratic Congress past administration but they are rather protesting against bad leadership and governance of this country.

Recall some youths and concern citizens of this country have finally hit the streets of Accra to demonstrate against the government in what they termed as ‘Fix The Country’ demonstration.
