Sultry songstress and a proud recipient of Female Vocalist of Year on numerous occasions, Efya has expressed her delight in the reinstatement of controversial musician, Shatta Wale back to the VGMAs.
Efya explained that Shatta Wale deserves to be nominated by the Awards scheme because he is a talented musician.
She also gushed over the Freedom hitmaker, saying she’s a big fan of his. She revealed this in an interview with Evans Amewugah on SVTV Africa’s SVTV chat.
She said:
Shatta Wale is a great guy and I literally get happy anytime he steps on stage. He has a very bright light around him and he deserves it.
She added that the return of Shatta Wale will add much flavour to the prestigious award scheme because of his huge personality.
