Opinions they say are like noses, we all have one. And that’s why no one should begrudge Nana Fynn, a legendary Highlife musician for stating that Mzvee and Stonebwoy are the only true Dancehall artistes in Ghana.
Nana Fynn, granting an interview with Evans Amewugah of SVTV Africa, added that most Ghanaians do not count Mzvee as a Dancehall artiste because she doesn’t behave rudely; something which often connotes Dancehall music.
He said:
Maybe the only people I can call authentic dancehall artistes are Stonebwoy and Mzvee. However, Ghanaians don’t link Mzvee to dancehall because she doesn’t act rudely.
Nana Fynn also stated emphatically that Stonebwoy and Mzvee’s collaboration Come Over, is the only Dancehall song in Ghana.
