Accra-based Hiplife/ Hip Hop musical duo Dope Nation has touched on their relationship with rapper EL describing him as their ‘Godfather’.

Recall rapper and record sound producer EL introduced Dope Nation to the Ghanaian music scene couple of years ago. One of the twin brother in the group, B2 has produced a lot of songs for the rapper and other top artists.
He was the brains behind the production of some great songs like Kpuu Kpaa by Shatta wale, Wow by Joey B ft EL, Sebgefia by Joey B and EL, Poison by Ebony Reigns, Forever by Eazzy ft Mr Eazi, Nana Ama by Pappy Kojo, among others.
They group has stated that the ‘Baba God’ hit maker is their Godfather in Ghana music and would love to work with him again. Speaking in an interview with Kofi Cephas on GhGossip.com YouTube’s program titled ‘In The Neighborhood’, the brothers revealed that EL paved the way for them.

Dope Nation also waded into the alleged rumors of having a heated misunderstanding between them of which many news portals suggested that they duo is about splitting.
Twist answering to the allegations stated that they always fight and have misunderstanding between them, but that doesn’t mean they will split. He said he doesn’t know what will happen that will cause their breakup.
