Mrs. Elsie Evelyn Avemegah is the name of Shatta Wale’s mum and in a clear demonstration of blood is thicker than water, the woman proudly announced that there’s no way the late Ebony Reigns can win ‘Artiste of the Year’ at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) whilst her son is in the same category.
Speaking exclusively to Razzonline.com’s Madam. Elsie Evelyn Avemegah confidently said Shatta Wale will pick the ultimate prize which is the ‘Artiste of the Year.’
She said;
There is one thing people don’t want to know…I know the charisma my son has; there is nothing that will pass by him..he is going to take it..no too waste about it.
When asked whether she is really sure if Shatta Wale can win over Ebony considering the latter’s overwhelming effort under the year in review, she replied:
I’m telling you that whatever the case may be, my son is going to take it…so I can not tell you that someone is going to take it and leave my son…my son is supposed to take and he will take it.
