Organisers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) have indicated that notwithstanding the coronavirus epidemic, the annual award scheme aimed at rewarding excellence in the Ghanaian music industry will still go ahead.

The Public Relation Officer of Charterhouse, Robert Klah has stated that in the worst possible case the programme will be postponed but not cancelled indefinitely.

This new development follows the heels of the directive issued by the President Nana Akufo Addo who placed a ban on all social and formal gatherings and shut down schools for 4-weeks as part of measures aimed at curbing the coronavirus menace.
