GMA award winner Trigmatic has bemoaned the fact that he is yet to gain the recognition that he truly deserves. Indeed there are lots of musicians in Ghana who have extreme quality which are depicted in their works yet are relatively unknown. M.anifest, Trigmatic, Flowking Stone and Gemini are few of the rappers who are underrated in our industry.
Trigmatic took his turn on the popular the Tonight show with Nii Kpakpo Thompson to make this pronouncement.
“I think I have challenged myself to the extreme, I work very hard, I stay true to music, I do live music, my songs are just not any kind of songs; just check the contents but….” he lamented.
Trigmatic, who is set to release his new album called Matic at the Alliance Francais added that it feels sad to release a song thinking people will love it but turns out the other way round.
“I travel and see people jamming to my songs but that is not the case here in my country. I feel I’m underrated.”
The music industry is now dominated by Azonto rhythms and with lyrics lacking common sense. Those who don’t join the bandwagon find it extremely hard to make any impression on music enthusiasts.
