Too Sweet Annan says Ghanaians love to booze and I say he has hit the nail right on the head. Although we complain of ‘lack of money in the system,’ boozing is one of our behavioural syndromes which is not affected by lack of money. It’s therefore not uncommon to find the young and the old in a pub drinking at any given time.

For this reason, the handsome actor says since Ghanaians love drinking, he has channelled his investment in that direction so he has set up a pub to sort of cater their needs. Speaking to MzGee of JoyNews, he said:

“There are so many ways to invest money in this country,” he said and added that, People like to booze in this country, he said in Twi.

“They like drinking. I own a pub so I know what I am saying. Like me, I invest in my pub, buy more drinks, people buy [and] get drunk but I don’t take alcohol,”

“It’s investment. I am using money to ‘catch’ money,” was the response from Too Sweet Annan when he was asked why he doesn’t drink but chooses to sell liquor.
