When it comes to gangsterism, thug life, and bad boys’ roles in Nollywood, actor Hanks Anuku stands tall. He has starred as the villain in many Nollywood films. As of 2017, Anuku was naturalized and became an American.

He and his family relocated to Ghana and became a Ghanaian citizen by naturalization. He has also appeared in some Kumawood (movies produced from Kumasi, Ghana) productions. The actor has changed a lot and one can tell he’s going through financial difficulties.
He used to be a hot cake but after his struggles with sicknesses and bowing out of Nollywood, have all taken a heavy toll on him. He recently visited young actor Zubby Michael and he looks almost unrecognizable.
