Being a lesbian in Ghana and some other African countries can spell doom for you. Religious people detest them and want out of their domain.
And if you advocate for their rights to be respected, you equally deemed a misfit. Ghanaian actress Vicky Zugah has said categorically that although she isn’t a lesbian, she sees nothing wrong with lesbianism, insisting it is a matter of choice.
The actress took her turn on the famous Celebrity Ride show with Zionfelix and made this disclosure. The actress, who shared a startling domestic abuse story few weeks ago maintained that as long two adults have decided to have mutual affection for each other, it must be respected.
She said:
“I have never thought of dating ladies but I am not saying it is bad. It is the choice of those ladies who want to date their colleagues but personally, I do not see anything wrong with it. I have not given up on men no matter what I have gone through in the past.”
