A Twitter fan has jabbed the president Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo for trying to resist the ongoing #FixTheCountry campaign.

The Twitter fan expressed how disappointed he is in the president of the Ghana as someone who has been regarded as one of the organizers of arguably one of the biggest demonstration or protest against any government in Ghana, the ‘Kume Pr3ko’ demonstration.
The ‘Kume Pr3ko’ protest was held in Ghana in 1995 against the former late president Jerry John Rawlings led administration after the government introduced a new Value Added Tax (VAT) initiative.
The main convener of the protest was human right activist and freedom fighter Dr Charles Wireko Brobbey and the protest is said to be the biggest anti-government protest ever held in the country as about 100,000 people participated in the protest.
The Twitter fan stated that he wants the president to know that people’s fathers and mothers were beaten and abused when they stood beside him at Tudu station when the protest in 1995 turned violent.
The man who lead “ku mi pr3 ku” campaign, is the same man who is now resisting the“fixthecountrynow” campaign. @NAkufoAddo I want you to know that our fathers and uncles forth at #Tudu station during that campaign. But look at you now trying to fight the youth now! @panjianoff
He said that knows of a person who narrated what happened that day to him and how he lost a couple of friends because of the protest.
On my life (promoter) @panjianoff … I have a friend who is in his 40’s in my hood and this man has always sweared on life and of his friends he lost that very day… “ he said all the boys at kanta that day had cutlass” under their little shops.. #FixTheCountryGhana
