Outspoken Ghanaian actress and social commentator Lydia Forson has urged the public not to fight amongst themselves when it comes to protesting against the government.

She stated the people should be united in fighting against the government and the system which is oppressing their progress and their ability to live a better life in the country rather than fighting among each other.

Ms Forson added although each and everyone has his/ her own opinion of agreeing or disagreeing on some topics, the voices in airing out some views and opinions for the country’s growth and development and for the government to fix the needs of the people should be united.

The fight shouldn’t be amongst us, it should be against the system we’re suffering. We can agree to disagree on many issues, but when it comes to this country and it’s development our voices should always be united in agreement to Fix it.

Ms Lydia Forson’s tweet comes as a response to a new #FixYourself hashtag also trending on micro blogging site Twitter right now. After some citizens started bashing the government on the social media platform with the #FixTheCountry hashtag, others too feels the citizens of this country should also try and fix themselves whiles asking the government to fix the country.
