A Nigerian man has opined that the best way to curb gender discrimination in Nigeria is to amend our ways of practice and selection of leaders in various Universities.

According to him, the best way to end gender discrimination is to begin in Universities in the countries.
In a tweet, he said that a woman does not always have to be the assistant to a male but she can also be the boss while the man becomes her assistant.
He said that most Universities have their class reps to be men and the assistant position always falls on the woman, this he describes as a form of gender discrimination.

Dr. Penking charged women to seek for SUG Presidents in Nigerian Universities rather than settling for Vice President of the girlfriend of the SUG President.
Women need to seek to become SUG presidents in Nigerian Universities. Not always Vice President. That is where we need to start from, he added.
