Nigerian Afropop singer and songwriter Teniola Apata professionally known as Teni has disclosed the reason why she featured only the 30BG, Davido on one of his tracks from his album ‘WONDALAND’.
In a recent interview with Adesope Olajide, Teni opened up about featuring DMW boss and fellow colleague Davido. When asked by Adesope why she didn’t feature other artists on her album except for Davido she said, “It had to be Davido. Davido is such an amazing guy and big thumbs up to everybody showed me love, but it had to be Davido.”

Teni revealed that she is very cool with the other artists and share amazing connections with like Wizkid and Burna Boy but her connection with Davido has always been special from the first day they met in Atlanta.
“I remember Wiz saw me at the headies and Wiz literally stood up and said hello. They always show love, Burna ….. Anywhere Burna sees me, he always shows love. But David is special because I have known Davido since Atlanta ooo”.
“I remember when I met him in his studio session and he said to me in his exact words ‘Go back to Nigeria and you are going to be a huge star‘ So he motivated me with those words and it was just right for me to do something with them for my first album. He was already huge at the time oo, so imagine Davido meeting me in a studio and telling me to do my thing that I can actually be a huge star”.
