Sarkodie has endorsed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Akufo-Addo ahead of the December elections. The rapper did it in his new song, Happy Song, which features Kuami Eugene.
In the song, Sarkodie praised Akufo-Addo for ending Dumsor and introducing Free SHS. But his claim has been described as ignorant by Baba Sadiq.

According to the National Democratic Congress spokesperson on Creative Arts, Dumsor was solved by former President John Mahama and Sarkodie is ignorant for crediting Akufo-Addo.

It’s ignorance for anyone to suggest the Nana Addo led administration solved Dumsor. When and how did they solve Dumsor? Such ignorance can’t be allowed to fester. By all means take your endorsement fees, but don’t hoodwink your fans into believing your ignorance.
