Young rapper, Strongman who recently got embroiled in a social media spat with legendary music producer, Hammer has rendered unqualified apology to his boss Sarkodie over comments he made about his label, Sarkcess Music some time ago.
Strongman was utterly disappointed that Sarkodie couldn’t use his influence to make him secure lots of nomination (he got only one nomination) prior to the 19th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards
He consequently took to social media to register his unhappiness.
He tweeted:
So everyday the #sarkeffect #sarkeffect you guys dey talk no, only one nomination for a whole transformer. This is very bad.
Some fans of Sarkodie felt the message was disrespectful to the Sarkcess Music brand so they descended heavily on him, insisting he took the tweet off social media.
However, the rapper told MzGee at the just ended awards that, his tweet was totally misinterpreted. According to him he “wasn’t necessarily saying that his management is not doing enough.”
He clarified further saying, “I’m directing the arrow towards some people. When I do well, they attribute everything to Sark effect, but the moment something is wrong, they say the artiste is bad.”
