Many Ghanaians has taken to micro-blogging site Twitter to expressed their dissatisfaction about some television stations in the country that runs adverts for ‘money rituals’ making the topic trends as number two on the site.

This comes after the incident that happened in Kasoa in the Central region where two young boys believed to be the age of 16 years each allegedly killed a small boy of 10 years old in aim of using some of his body parts for money rituals.
Reports claims they caught off the ears of the small boy and was ready to bury him beneath an uncompleted building until the Kasoa Divisional Police Command apprehended them upon a tip-off.
Investigations claims they were more motivated in presenting the body parts to a fetish priest for money rituals. The two has since be remanded into police custody for two weeks by a court of high jurisdiction.
Many Ghanaians reacting to the sad and brokenhearted news stated the current rise of killings which are suspected to be money rituals related are a result of the numerous advertisement of money rituals that are aired by many television stations in the country.
Some even went on to blame the National Media Commission (NCA) as a regulatory board in-charge of monitoring these television stations as a big failure to the country.
Now in aim of creating awareness to put a stop to the act and even banning such television stations, Ghanaians has taken to Twitter to call on the government to act swiftly to ensure that our ‘air space’ are free from such advertisement.
