Comedian cum musician, David Oscar has jabbed Shatta Wale for his perpetual arrogance and display of wealth, asking him why he calls himself a ‘king’ when his arc-rival, Stonebwoy is way ahead of him.
Oscar added that when it comes to the true identity of Dancehall music, Stonebwoy represents it to the fullest hence the SM boss must give him (Stonebwoy) maximum respect instead of belittling him like he always does.
David Oscar expressed this opinion in an interview with Hitz FM, whilst adding the recent award Shatta Wale had at the International Reggae & World Music Awards (IRAWMA) for his contributions to Reggae in Ghana and at the global level cannot be compared to the Black Entertainment Television (BET) award Stonebwoy has won.
“When it comes to Reggae/dancehall, Stonebwoy has a BET; you don’t have one. You’re talking about IRAWMAs. Who doesn’t know that BET is bigger than the IRAWMAs? Let’s face facts” he argued.
“You are a king but someone is seated on you when it comes to the genre so respect that. You’re always boasting that you’re rich. If you’re rich, go buy BET” he stated.
