Ghanaian rap icon, Sarkodie has began the year with a bang as he won the Best Collaboration award at the Sound City MVP Awards Festival held last night (Jan. 12) at the Eko Center in Lagos-Nigeria.
His song collaborative song with Runtown, Pain Killer was adjudged the best collaboration song in 2017. Sarkodie beat stiff competition from Tiwa Savage, Tofan, AKA among others.
The biggest winner of the night was Davido. The serial hit maker undoubtedly had the best moment of his life in 2017 and he’s started 2018 in a similar fashion. He grabbed three awards with his massive hit song, IF.
Davido walked away with the Song of the Year, Video of the Year and African Artist of the Year award.
