One of the world’s most notable sports channels, Sky Sports has denied its involvement in the creation of the new and controversial European Super League.

The new European Super League is a newly introduced football league which involves some of the elite clubs in Europe joining forces to create a very powerful competition among themselves.

Already, some big clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester United, Barcelona, Juventus, Athletico Madrid, Chelsea, Arsenal, AC Milan, Tottenham Hotspurs, Inter Milan, Manchester City, Liverpool, have all agreed in joining the new Super League.

Reports indicates the football mother body, FIFA and European Football Association (UEFA) are planning of banning these said clubs and they players from participating in any of their organized competitions like the World Cup.

But the president of the Super League Association and president of Real Madrid has insisted on moving forward with the agenda of creating a league for the elite clubs. He said if FIFA bans the players from participating in their competitions, the association will create their World Cup to battle with FIFA’s own.

As many were pointing fingers at Sky Sports to the main and official broadcaster or media partner for the Super League, but the station has come out to debunked the rumors of playing its involvement in the league and pledging its allegiance to the English Football Association.
