President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo’s architect, Sir David Adjaye has joined the long list of celebrities and officials advocating for LGBT rights in Ghana.

Sir David Adjaye is the Ghanaian-British architect trusted to build the National Cathedral which has been proposed by the president. He was recently mentioned among the list of people thought to be leading the cause for the legalization of LGBT rights and freedom in the country.
A Twitter user who is a member of the group brought this to the attention of Ghanaians as a sign of their numbers growing wider by the day.
He wrote;
Yeah, aside Idris Elba and Naomi Campbell signing this letter, Sir David Adjaye also did. Yes, Sir Adjaye, the very one building the National Cathedral! Isn’t this just refreshing?
