Nollywood was thrown into a state of shock two years ago when fresh-faced actor, Muna Obiekwe was reported dead.
Multiple sources confirmed that he died of kidney related issues and the fact he couldn’t afford his treatment.
Veteran Nollywood actor, Jibola Dabo has highlighted what culminated in the Muna’s death. The bearded veteran actor, whose popularity shot u after playing a controversial role in Tonto Dikeh’s ‘Dirty Secret’ movie which also featured late Muna Obiekwe has revealed how the actor caused his death.
He said:
I acted alongside late Muna Obiekwe in the movie Dirty Secrets. I felt sad about it. But the young man had been sad for a while because he had been careless about his health.
He drank too much alcohol and he didn’t remember that he had a liver. He was also a chain smoker, but of course, there are also people that do it and live longer.
I was saddened that we had lost another star because he was a great actor.”
