King of African dancehall, Shatta Wale has smoked the peace pipe with his long time enemy “godfather deportee” who he sacked from the Shatta Movement Family years ago.
Rumour has it that the duo were best of friends who had each other’s interest at hand until one outsmarted the other over money. It is believed that Godfather who Shatta Wale had trusted with an amount of Ghs 2,800 to buy cement to construct a building for him, squandered the money without completing the job.
Shatta Wale after learning of what his friend had done fired up and excommunicated him from the Shatta Movement Empire and everything connected to his brand and music even after he had promised to pay the money.
The sack from the camp provoked godfather to reveal secrets of Shatta Wale to the media, with hope of destroying him.
Latest development shows the duo are on good terms as they have been spotted on social media exchanging pleasantries over a photo of Shatta Wale, shared by godfather, something they are not known for. Some believe it’s a symbol of unity after several years of going seperate ways.
