Well known Ghanaian dancehall artiste and songwriter Charles Nii Armah Mensah well known as Shatta Wale has expressed mixed reactions over the featuring of his songs in the new Spanish films, Black Beach.
Shatta wale who was excited and overwhelmed about how he has climbed the ladder in his music career stated in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM that even though the feature is one of the best things that have happened to him, it shows he’s more appreciated abroad than in Ghana.

“My problem is that people do not give me the opportunity to really make the country proud. People expect me to tow a certain path but in an actual sense, I have created a path for myself. I have a plan for my future but people do not understand and think I am sleeping in the industry,” he said
