Shatta Wale has called for support for female entertainers in the industry. Ghana’s music industry has been dominated by males for very long time and only few women make feeble attempts to break the cycle.
All the hits songs produced come from the men and they have established a very sustainable brand and a huge fan base. For this reason, Wale wants a variation and has called for women to be supported to get the needed recognition.
In a post on Facebook Shatta Wale said: “Lets stand up for our female artiste..its time for the women too…”.
