The die-hard fans of Shatta Wale could easily dismiss the above caption as mischievous or a fallacy but it’s indeed true as one beautiful Ghanaian based in the US is bent on going down the wire with Shatta Wale for defrauding her.
According to the lady who introduced herself as Emmanuella Ofori, the multiple award-winning artiste duped her of a whopping $45,000 after she contacted him to perform at her wedding.
She consequently contacted him via Facebook after which Shatta Wale gave her his personal WhatsApp number so they can finalize the deal.
She noted that Shatta Wale asked her not to pay the money through his record label, Zylofon Media because they pay him peanuts.
And that he also needs money to buy himself out of his contract with Zylofon, therefore, she should deal directly with him.
She further added that Shatta Wale one day told her he wanted to move his bank money from United Kingdom to USA so he need some money to aid the bank transfer.
That’s when Emmanuella fell for the scam and transfered the said amount to the fraudster thinking it was Shatta Wale.
She said since the transfer was made, Shatta Wale blocked her on all his social media platform.
Well, it’s obvious these scammers who use celebs profiles on social media are behind this scam.
