Television presenter at GHOne Serwah Amihere has slammed blog site Ghanaweb for a misleading headline.
There has been a strange headline hovering around the internet asserting that the journalist claims the institution of marriage isn’t important and she prefers to be single. This came up after a troll commented on one of Serwaa’s birthday photos asking her to find a husband to marry her. In response, Serwah Amihere replied, “You’ll be pushing women to end up in unhappy and abusive marriages SMH”.

Her response was however thwarted by blog site Ghanaweb who headlined their story, “Marriage is not important, I prefer being single” with Serwah’s name attached. The article didn’t go down well with the journalist and has issued a caveat for the change of headline from Ghanaweb.
She tweeted on Ghana web “@TheGhanaWeb with all due respect, fix this headline because I never said this! I am waiting! We are all journalists, we know the job. Do not misquote me”.
