Indeed we are in an era where people don’t appreciate music with profound lyrics any longer. If you want to appeal to the masses, all you need is to arrange witless words over a danceable beat and bingo, you’ll be on your way to stardom.
Kula, an ‘underground’ musician who is yet to get the spotlight despite his ‘good music,’ is a firm believer of the above thesis.
The artiste wondered why a song like One Corner, which lacks sense is getting attention throughout Ghana whilst his songs such as Boi Wei Paa is going nowhere.
He made the statement after Pataapa rocked the studios of TV3 with his hit track and also posed with Bola Ray.
“I sing sensible song all my life, I never meet Bola Ray. STRESS”
