Controversial Ghanaian media personality Bridget Otoo has quizzed the selective treatment and judgement given to estrange Menz Gold boss Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1) after ‘scamming’ a lot of people for their money.

She said she doesn’t understand why a person like NAM1, who through his actions has rendered so many people bankrupt of which some even died through the process will be walking as a free man in this country whiles a ‘harmless’ person like Akuapem Poloo has been convicted.

This comes after news broke out that Rosemond Brown, popularly known in Showbiz as Akuapem Poloo has been convicted and is likely to face a prison sentence following a nude photo she shared with her son couple of months ago.

Akuapem Poloo was initially arrested and arraigned before court on counts on violating her son’s right and subjecting him to a nudity content of which she shared on her various social media platforms. She was later released on a bond which was alleged to have been paid by a ‘good Samaritan’.

Bridget Otoo comparing the case of Akuapem Poloo to that of NAM1 believes speed and manner of which the judicial service has handed Akuapem Poloo’s case even though she has not caused any harm should have been given to the NAM1 case looking at how sensitive it is and the casualties involved.

She added the businessman is running around in Ghana and posting on his social media platforms just because he is connected to ‘powerful’ people in government who are willing to protect him and keeps him out of prison.

NAM1 is still free and doing Instagram post. A man described by the state as a scammer. A man whose actions has killed people, rendered thousands jobless and some are at the point of suicide! He’s free cos he’s connected! #AkuapemPoloo
